 | My interest in fire hydrants coincides with my research into 19th century inventor Birdsill Holly. Holly had over 150 patents dealing with water pumps, steam engines and fire protection systems. One of his most famous inventions is the fire hydrant he designed to be used with his municipal water supply system. I am always interested in seeing or purchasing materials related to the Holly Mfg.
